The head piece for the front door takes a day to build, as it is an arched top. Because everything in the front of the home has been matching profiles, we needed to set the door apart. More pictures to come when this is installed.
This is as custom as it gets. A 12” crown, curved. This is hand done by our friends at Architectural Millworks. This took a ton of time by their most experienced craftsman. For people that know that crown does not bend, they will be dumbfounded when they see it in.
The railing is being crafted by Master Woodworks. He is building his special profile rail, which is carved by a C & C machine…..without a C & C machine, a lot of this home would not have been built. Radius profiles can be challenging, but this railing will be looking sharp when installed!
Most of the heavy excavation is now complete. Other than some fine tuning by the landscapers, the grade is ready to go. Here is the area where the main back yard will be.
